Voluntary Campaign Participation Terms
Effective Date: September 24, 2026
Last Reviewed: September 24, 2026
Version: 1.0
These Voluntary Campaign Participation Terms apply when an individual or organization applies, registers, nominates itself, or submits materials to participate voluntarily in an OPYNARI campaign. They supplement the OPYNARI Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and campaign-specific rules.
1. Voluntary Application
Submitting an application is voluntary and does not guarantee acceptance, publication, placement, continued participation, ranking, promotion, sponsorship, prize eligibility, or any specific outcome. OPYNARI may review eligibility, identity, content, rights, campaign fit, capacity, integrity, and compliance before or after acceptance.
2. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If applying for an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to provide the information, grant the required permissions, and bind the represented party to the applicable campaign terms.
You agree to satisfy the eligibility criteria, deadlines, geographic conditions, professional qualifications, category requirements, and other rules stated for the campaign.
3. Accurate Information
You must provide information that is accurate, current, and not materially misleading. You agree to promptly report changes affecting eligibility, identity, authority, rights, or public presentation. OPYNARI may request reasonable verification and may reject or restrict a submission that cannot be adequately verified.
4. Submitted Materials
You retain ownership of materials you submit. You grant OPYNARI and Arpex Web LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, format, edit for length or technical presentation, translate, publish, display, distribute, archive, and promote the materials for:
- reviewing and administering the application;
- creating and operating the relevant campaign;
- displaying the participant and campaign publicly;
- promoting OPYNARI, the campaign, and its results;
- producing reports and historical records; and
- protecting security, rights, and campaign integrity.
This license does not transfer ownership. It continues for the campaign and for a reasonable period afterward for archival, reporting, promotional, integrity, and legal purposes, subject to applicable law and any campaign-specific terms.
5. Rights and Permissions
You represent that you own or control all rights necessary for the submitted names, images, biographies, logos, trademarks, audio, video, text, links, and other materials. You must obtain permission from photographers, designers, employers, organizations, people depicted, and other rights holders where required.
Do not submit confidential material, trade secrets, private third-party information, or content subject to restrictions that conflict with the permissions required for the campaign.
6. Name, Image, Likeness, and Publicity
Where the campaign involves public display or promotion, you authorize OPYNARI to use the participant’s approved name, professional identity, image, likeness, voice, biography, organization, and submitted campaign materials for the purposes stated in these Terms and the campaign notice.
A separate Image, Likeness & Content Release may be required. If so, participation is not complete until that release is accepted by the proper rights holder.
7. Public Display and Community Activity
You understand that accepted materials, campaign descriptions, rankings, votes, Fan Power, comments where enabled, and related results may be publicly visible, shared, discussed, quoted, or indexed by search engines. OPYNARI does not control lawful discussion or independent third-party use outside the Platform.
8. Campaign Integrity
You and anyone acting on your behalf must not manipulate results through bots, scripts, false accounts, device farms, purchased engagement, credential sharing, coercion, unauthorized incentives, technical exploitation, or coordinated inauthentic conduct.
You may lawfully and transparently invite supporters to participate unless the campaign rules prohibit or limit promotion. You remain responsible for instructions, materials, or incentives distributed by your authorized team.
9. Editorial Control
OPYNARI retains editorial and operational control over campaign format, design, categories, descriptions, schedules, display order, moderation, integrity measures, and publication. We may make reasonable edits for accuracy, clarity, length, translation, consistency, accessibility, and technical presentation without changing the material meaning.
Participation does not provide authority to approve other participants, suppress lawful results, dictate rankings, or control OPYNARI’s independent analysis.
10. No Partnership, Employment, or Endorsement
Voluntary participation does not create employment, agency, joint venture, franchise, fiduciary duty, official endorsement, sponsorship, or legal partnership with OPYNARI or Arpex Web LLC. Any commercial or strategic relationship must be established in a separate written agreement.
11. Compensation, Fees, and Prizes
Unless campaign-specific terms expressly state otherwise, participants are not charged merely to be considered and are not entitled to compensation, royalties, prizes, travel, reimbursement, or a share of revenue because they appear in a campaign.
If a fee, prize, benefit, purchase, or paid service applies, the campaign or transaction terms will describe the amount, conditions, eligibility, and restrictions. Payment never authorizes manipulation of authentic engagement results.
12. Withdrawal and Removal
You may request withdrawal through the official contact method. We will evaluate the request based on timing, campaign status, rights, public interest, technical feasibility, contractual obligations, and applicable law.
Withdrawal may end future active display but may not require removal of lawful historical results, aggregate statistics, backups, records necessary for security or legal compliance, or independent third-party copies. If removal would materially affect an active campaign, OPYNARI may explain the change or preserve a neutral historical notation.
13. Suspension or Disqualification
OPYNARI may reject, suspend, remove, or disqualify a participant for ineligibility, material misrepresentation, rights violations, manipulation, unlawful conduct, safety concerns, campaign disruption, or breach of applicable terms. Where appropriate, we may request correction or provide an opportunity to respond.
14. Privacy and Data Use
Personal information is processed according to the OPYNARI Privacy Policy and any campaign-specific notice. Public-profile fields and submitted materials may be displayed as described during application. Optional research-profile fields are distinct from required campaign information unless clearly stated otherwise.
15. Campaign-Specific Terms
Additional rules may address categories, judging, voting frequency, Fan Power, prizes, deadlines, content specifications, releases, geography, professional status, or other requirements. If those terms directly conflict with these general Terms, the campaign-specific terms control for that campaign.
16. Questions
For application, eligibility, correction, withdrawal, or rights questions, use the official contact method published on OPYNARI and identify the relevant campaign and submission.
